Is it possible to get signage from mobiAD without using the fleet service ?

Yes, just complete the form on the Contact Us page and we will forward an estimate to you. Please provide us with the vehicle makes and models, your choice of signage and your location. Visit the Picture gallery for examples.

How does the fleet booking process work?

Send us your request on e.mail to info.mobiad@gmail.com or complete the request form on the Contact Us page and we will either send a Campaign Profiling document to you to complete or arrange to meet with you. Once the campaign profiling document has been completed we will conduct a database search for vehicles, models, colours, drivers profiles, routes and drive times suitable for your campaign. Should you require Brand Models to be included in the signage graphics, castings for the most suitable brand ambassarors can be arranged at the same time. Once these searches are completed, we will revert to you with the availability. If acceptable to you, a booking confirmation schedule is then sent to you for sign-off. 

Can we use our own artwork ?

Yes, as long as it is in a workable format. We will forward it to the design division to ensure that it will suit and fit the vehicles selected and send a proof to you for clarification and sign-off.

What if we do not have any artwork ?

We will handle the process for you from design to finished product whilst consulting with you every step of the way.

Can we book a campaign - Nationally ?

At this stage the service is available in Gauteng, Durban, Cape Town. We are busy with role out plans for other cities and will publish these on the website when available.

How long must campaigns run for ?

That is your decision but nothing less than one month. The international trend is between three to twelve months.

Who pays for the signage costs ?

The advertiser does and this could include artwork, repro, signage mediums, application and stripping  - where applicable. If Brand Models are selected, these costs are also paid by the advertiser. Insurance on the signage is optional.

Who pays the campaigning vehicles sponsorship ?

The advertiser does and the sponsorship fee includes the profiling of the vehicles, models, colors, average monthly mileage, signage choice (excluding cost), drivers, routes and drive times. It also includes the monthly inspection, report and the usage of the motorists' vehicles for campaigning.

Can we arrange our own signage and just pay for the use of the vehicle campaigning ?

Yes, just request a suitable campaign (vehicles, routes, times) and we will forward a proposal .... if suitable, book the vehicles and we will liase with whoever is doing your signage and the vehicle owners for the application of the signage.

Who and how is the sponsorship paid  to the owners of the vehicles ?

The client (advertiser or agency) pays it to mobiAD who is contractually bound to the vehicle owners. mobiAD will transfer the sponsorship fee to the vehicle owner once the vehicle inspection has been conducted successfully, at monthly intervals, during the campaign period.

How can i be reassured that the vehicles involved in our campaign are viewed by our target audience ?

In consultation with you, the selection of the route/s to be travelled are carefully considered and profile matched before the signage is applied to ensure that the vehicles selected will do the necessary mileage on the selected routes where your typical target audience travels ensuring optimum viewing impressions. Secondly, all vehicles participating in your campaign are inspected once a month for distance travelled and signage condition. This information is then forwarded to you as proof and confirmation of the visibility of the campaining vehicles.

Are there a minimum number of vehicles that have to be booked for a single campaign ?

Our rates for campaigning with magnetic signs, mirror socks and contravision rear window signs are inclusive of 5 vehicles per month. Our wrap signs campaigning rates are quoted per vehicle per month. So you can decide what is best for your campaign/s.

Do rates on certain routes differ from others ?

No, our rates are calculated in a similar way to radio advertising. Time slots and the type of campaign determine the rate. All routes are either busy or very busy at certain times of the day and that is why we prefer to consider the traffic flow and travel times of vehicles, as this will influence the viewing impressions, campaign effectiveness and costs accordingly.

How can i be reassured that the drivers will be effective brand ambassadors ?

All drivers supply us with specific information and permission to validate this information. This will include but is not limited to the validation of a driver's profile, driver's license, insurance details including claims history, traffic offences, vehicle condition, and mileage. 

How can i be reassured that the driver's vehicle is in a sound condition ?

All vehicles are inspected by our installers prior to the commencement of a campaign to ensure that the vehicle serves your brand well.

What happens if a vehicle is involved in an accident ?

Firstly any downtime that may occur will be added on to the term of the campaign at no additional cost to you. If the vehicle's body and signage is damaged, that section of the signage on that specific body panel can be removed and replaced. The cost is usually covered by insurance. It is a good idea to consider the optional insurance offers for signage.

What is unique about this campaigning method ?

Well the fact that you can select the most suitable brand ambassadors, vehicles, colours, routes, mileage and drive times is a good start. In addition to that, whilst all methods of outdoor advertising have their place, there are a couple of unique features about mobiAD - it is eye-level, "eye-catching" and safer for motorists - because it is mobile it NEVER blends into the background as is the case with certain advertising mediums after a few weeks - the sponsorship programme allows motorists to view mobiAD advertisers and their brands as contributors to the community  - motorists truly see themselves as brand ambassadors - a billboard seen wherever a vehicle can travel or park -the only billboard that does not require local authorities authorisation - not forgetting that the size of the BILLBOARD is determined by the number of the vehicles in your campaign, which is a very cost effective method of increasing the size of your "BILLBOARD" and spreading your message.
